The Diamond Lodge considers a block booking of 10 rooms or more a group

No group booking is confirmed until a 50% deposit has been received, this deposit request will be sent to you on making your initial reservation with the due date of when your deposit should reach us.

Once your deposit has been received, confirmation of your booking will be issued, if no deposit has been received by the date due your booking will automatically be released and notification will be sent to you in writing.

We pay a commission of 8% to all agencies on a room only basis.

Our cancellation policy for a group booking of 10 rooms or more is 7 days prior to arrival, if a booking is cancelled after this point then the booking deposit is non refundable, small amendments may be made to your booking up to 48 hours prior to arrival.

A full rooming list is required 48 hours [2days] prior to arrival.

Unless credit facilities have been pre-arranged settlement of your account is due upon arrival.

Should rooms be arriving individually and an organizer is to settle the account notification must be sent to the hotel prior to your party arriving, giving the name of person responsible, without this your party will not be able to check in until your organizer has arrived.

One key per room is issued; all keys must be deposited with reception when leaving the building loss of a key carries a standard charge of £20.00.

All rooms are non smoking; failure to comply carries a standard charge of £50.00 liable by the guest occupying the room.

It is the responsibility of the organizer to ensure the orderly conduct of its party; the hotel will not tolerate abusive or disruptive behavior from its guests any damage caused to the allocated rooms or the furnishings of the hotel. if any act, default or neglect by the guests or organizers result in damage or complaints from other guests, the customer shall be liable to pay the Diamond lodge on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage, if a disturbance is caused the room concerned will be evicted from the building and no refund given, it is not the responsibility of the hotel to find alternative accommodation.

For group bookings with children (minors classed as under 18) it is the responsibility of the organizers to ensure that there is enough adult supervision for the amount of children in the party, the hotel does not offer child minding facilities, disturbance to other guests of the hotel may result in your booking being terminated with immediate effect and no refund given. the hotel will not be responsible to find alternative accommodation. any damage to hotel rooms allocated or hotel furnishings will be charged.

Whilst the hotel has taken reasonable steps to ensure that information contained within its brochures, tariffs, leaflets, web sites and other advertisements materials is accurate, it reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any services, facilities or amenities without notice if necessary.

Check in time is any time after 14.00pm. if guests arrive before, we can offer to hold luggage at the hotel. check out time on day of departure is 11am; if the room is not vacated by this time your party will be liable for a further nights accommodation charge. should on departure you forget something and wish us to forward it for you, a small postage and package charge will be issued price sized as packaged.

Any complaint regarding the hotel must be brought to the attention of the hotel team as early as possible during your stay, and if not resolved to your satisfaction, should be notified to the general manager in writing, if the hotel is not informed about an issue during your stay no reimbursement can be offered at a later date.

A free continental breakfast only is available to all guests and served between 6am-10am daily.

The Diamond lodge offers a strictly residential only bar. open until 00.30am we are permitted to serve alcohol to guests registered within the building only are are unable to serve any alcohol after 00.30 midnight, the management reserves the right to refuse alcohol at their discretion.
